Ways to reach out to young professionals include:

• Network or place notices at alumni associations of local colleges and universities.
• Place notices in corporate bulletins. Many corporations now have explicit programs designed to encourage and support their employees in board service.
• Set up a MySpace page to promote your organization and volunteer leadership opportunities.
• Host small events to introduce the organization to the peers of the young people already involved in the organization.
• Reach out to people who have been served by the organization's programs or activities.
